If you’ve been tagged in a story, simply tap the “Add to story” button that appears in your DMs after you see the tag. This will automatically open the story in your own story editor, where you can add text, stickers, GIFs, or anything else to make it your own! Your followers will see the original story as well, so there’s no need to worry about crediting your friend. It’s automatically included, right at the top.
Now, about resharing stories from public accounts without a tag, that depends! If the account has allowed resharing, and you see the share icon, you can simply tap the airplane icon and choose “Add story.” If you don’t see the option, unfortunately, they’ve disabled it.
